What is infiorata™?
INFIORATA™ is a material dyed with a hybrid dye that combines more than 90% natural dyes and chemical dyes.
Despite its natural origin, it has stable color fastness and produces natural and gentle colors that cannot be expressed by chemical dyes. By utilizing plants that would otherwise be disposed of as waste for some dyes, and by minimizing the amount of chemical dyes used, the environmental impact of dyeing can be reduced compared to dyeing using conventional chemical dyes.
Dyeing process
- Collect seasonal plants and flowers
- Extract the ingredients from each plant and produce dyes using our proprietary technology. Multiple colors of dye can be produced from a single plant.
- When dyed on fabrics, the components contained in the natural dyes are layered and adsorbed, resulting in fabrics with deep and rich colors due to the effect of diffuse reflection.
