Siropremium™ is made from carefully selected Indian extra-long staple cotton.
Silo-spun cotton yarns are given more twists than usual (additional twisting) and then gas-burned, resulting in a texture that has both a silky feel and a smooth, cool feel. In addition, the fluffiness of the yarns is reduced to the utmost limit, so the fluffiness after washing is less than that of ordinary fabrics.
Gas buring by craftsmen's techniques
Cotton yarns have fluff that is unique to natural fibers. By gas-burning the fluff, the cotton yarn is cleaned and conditioned. On the other hand, gas burning involves risks, so the craftsman must exquisitely control the speed at which the cotton yarn is passed through the fire and adjust the heat.
It is not something that can be done only with the right equipment; the experience and skill of our craftsmen are the key to the perfection of our original yarn.
