What is Nylon?
Nylon is a synthetic fiber produced by polymerizing compounds derived from petroleum. It was one of the earliest synthetic fibers to be industrialized. There are two main varieties: nylon 6, known for its excellent dye affinity, and nylon 66, renowned for its heat resistance. Nylon 6 is more commonly used in fashion applications.
