SUVIN COTTON*1 is the world's highest quality extra-long staple cotton, which accounts for less than a few percent of the world's total cotton production. It is harvested by hand without damaging the fibers, and is characterized by its silky luster, supple texture, and moist feel. SUVIN COTTON is classified as "extra-long staple cotton," which is one of the longest fibers among "long staple cotton," and its fiber fineness is about 2.9-3.2 micronaire*2, which is very fine and soft with little fluffing.
Stylem offers SUVIN-Platinum, a high-quality cut-and-sew fabric made from only the best parts of suvin cotton, which is called first-picked cotton, taking advantage of the hand-picking that is unique to its Indian origins. At first glance, it is difficult to tell the difference between SUVIN-Platinum and other cut-and-sew fabrics, but the fabrics are processed to bring out the best of the raw materials, making them extra soft and supple to the touch.
