What is Acrylic?
Acrylic is a synthetic fiber produced through the polymerization of polyacrylonitrile, a compound derived from petroleum. Defined as containing at least 85% polyacrylonitrile, acrylic was developed to mimic the properties of wool, offering an artificial alternative with similar characteristics.
